This Privacy Policy explains how KRIAAJEE ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION (CIN: U85420UP2023NPL188809), a Section 8 company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, operating under the name "QriusAI Foundation" ("QriusAI Foundation," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit qriusai.org (the "Website") or interact with our forms, surveys, and other online services.
By using the Website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy covers information collected through:
- Website browsing (cookies and analytics, if used, see Section 7)
- Forms embedded on the Website, including Partner With Us inquiries, general contact, careers and fellowship applications, volunteer sign-ups, the State of AI Readiness / Nonprofit AI Readiness Index (NARI) survey, and Echoes of Impact guest interest and listener notifications
This Policy does not cover information we collect in person during our programs, for example, consent for photography or video of participants at AI literacy sessions, needs assessments, or Catalyst cohorts. That information is collected and governed separately, directly with participating institutions, organisations, and individuals, under its own consent process.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on which form you use, we may collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number
- Organisational details: organisation name, role or title, and sector (nonprofit, foundation, corporate CSR/ESG, etc.)
- Message content: whatever you choose to share in free-text fields, such as your partnership interest, inquiry, or application details
- Career and fellowship application materials: a resume or CV or other documents you choose to upload, and your responses to application questions
- Survey responses: your answers to the State of AI Readiness / NARI survey, which may include organisational and role-based information as described in the survey itself
- Technical information: through Google Analytics, we collect standard technical data such as IP address, approximate location, browser type, device type, referring pages, and pages visited (see Section 7)
We do not knowingly collect payment or financial information through the Website. The Website does not currently offer online donations or process any payments (see Section 11).
4. How We Collect Information
All forms on the Website are built and hosted using Fillout, a third-party form provider, embedded directly into our pages. When you submit a form, your information is transmitted to and processed by Fillout on our behalf, and then made available to the QriusAI Foundation team. 5. Why We Collect Information
We collect and use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiry, application, or request
- Evaluate partnership, sponsorship, volunteer, and fellowship or career applications
- Conduct and analyse the State of AI Readiness / NARI research, including preparing anonymised or aggregated findings for our public report, policy brief, and dashboard
- Provide the free AI readiness audit to organisations that participate in the survey
- Notify you, if you opt in, about the release of the State of AI Readiness report or new Echoes of Impact conversations
- Improve the Website and our programs
- Meet legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act")
Our legal basis for processing is your consent, given when you voluntarily submit a form, and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating our programs.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Website and our programs, such as Fillout (forms), ClickUp (careers job descriptions, linked externally), our website hosting provider, and email or communication tools
- District administrations, institutions, or partner organisations, only where necessary to coordinate a program you have applied to or inquired about, and only with your knowledge
- Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law
Survey data collected for the State of AI Readiness / NARI research is anonymised or aggregated before being included in any public report, policy brief, or dashboard, consistent with our evidence-first research methodology.
7. Cookies and Analytics
The Website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and what device or browser they use. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. The data collected is used in aggregate to improve the Website and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics may set cookies on your device and may process this data on servers outside India. You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings to block analytics cookies.
We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell information collected through analytics.
8. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Information submitted through our forms is stored by Fillout and accessed by authorised QriusAI Foundation team members. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law. Unless a shorter period is required by law or a longer period is needed to resolve a dispute or comply with a legal obligation, our standard retention periods are:
- General contact inquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us
- Partnership and sponsorship inquiries: for the duration of any resulting relationship, and up to 3 years after our last contact if no partnership results
- Career and fellowship applications (unsuccessful): up to 12 months after the relevant recruitment cycle closes, so we can consider you for related openings, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
- Volunteer sign-ups and Echoes of Impact guest or listener sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or opt out, or after 24 months of inactivity, whichever is sooner
- State of AI Readiness / NARI survey responses: any personally identifying link to your response is retained only as long as needed to deliver your free readiness audit, and is deleted or anonymised within 12 months of collection; anonymised or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for research and historical reporting purposes
- Analytics data (Google Analytics): retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings, which we periodically review
These are our standard retention periods; we may adjust them where a longer period is required by law or a shorter period is requested and reasonably possible.
9. Children's Data
The Website's forms are intended for use by adults, eighteen and older, acting on behalf of themselves, their organisation, or their institution. We do not knowingly collect personal data via the Website's forms from children under eighteen. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us through the Website, please contact us using the details in Section 13 so we can remove it.
This does not affect the separate, in-person consent processes used for photography, video, or program participation involving students and young people at schools, colleges, and ITIs, which are governed independently of this Website and its forms, with consent obtained directly from participants, guardians, and partner institutions.
10. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act and other applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Withdraw consent at any time, which may affect our ability to respond to your inquiry or application
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal and legitimate operational needs
- Lodge a grievance with us, and, if unresolved, with the relevant data protection authority

11. No Online Donations
QriusAI Foundation does not currently accept donations or process payments of any kind through this Website. We do not use third-party payment processors, and no page on this Website will ask you for payment or banking details. If you receive a communication claiming to solicit donations on behalf of QriusAI Foundation through this Website, please treat it with suspicion and contact us directly to verify.
12. International Users
QriusAI Foundation is based in India, and our mission extends beyond India. If you are located outside India and choose to interact with our forms or survey, your information may be transferred to and processed in India and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
